Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software and services that automate enterprise infrastructure platform deployments.
- Engineer and operate secure, scalable infrastructure services covering databases, virtual machines, networking, storage, containers, and cloud platforms.
- Create software-defined configurations and implement infrastructure-as-code, automation, orchestration, provisioning, and de-provisioning workflows.
- Develop infrastructure service catalogs, lifecycle service models, capacity plans, scalability plans, and maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with application teams on application and technology upgrades and migrations to infrastructure platforms.
- Implement security measures and participate in infrastructure, application, server, and platform lifecycle management.
- Perform automated controlled deployments across development, quality assurance, and production environments.
- Apply ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Principal Consultant, DevOps Engineer, or in a related role.
- At least five years of IT experience and three years of infrastructure platform experience involving networks, servers, storage, or virtual machines.
- Experience with cloud environments, system administration, or middleware application technologies.
- Experience with continuous delivery, DevOps strategies, infrastructure automation, and automated application deployment.
- Experience with an infrastructure-as-code tool such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including load balancing, firewalls, application proxies, and security brokers.
- Experience with IT processes including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
- Experience with Python, Bash, software development, and collaboration products.
- Must be at least eighteen years old and legally authorized to work without current or future employment-visa sponsorship.

- Role reports to the Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, Ohio.
