Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and implementation of Guidewire solutions across one or more product domains.
- Lead solution design decisions for complex cross-module requirements and govern customizations.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple squads or workstreams and review designs, code, and configurations.
- Own integration architecture and implementation quality, including non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability, and resilience.
- Guide teams on cloud-native patterns, DevSecOps, and observability practices.
- Lead root-cause analysis for severe or recurring production incidents and drive permanent fixes.
- Partner with ADM, QE, and SRE teams to improve platform stability and reduce defects, repeat incidents, and change-related failures.
- Collaborate with architects, business systems analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders on solution options, scope, and delivery approaches.
- Mentor intermediate and junior Guidewire developers and promote reusable components, accelerators, standards, and blueprints.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Guidewire development experience.
- Strong expertise across multiple Guidewire products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Jutro.
- Strong experience with complex integrations and distributed systems.
- Proven experience managing technical delivery across multiple teams or modules.
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance processes and regulatory context.
- Experience owning production stability and operational outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Guidewire Cloud Platform delivery and operations experience is desirable.
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, and observability tools is desirable.
- Experience leading large-scale Guidewire programs or multi-country implementations is desirable.
- Experience in regulated, multi-business-unit enterprise environments is desirable.
- Prior contribution to platform standards or architecture forums is desirable.
