Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions for new and existing features.
- Contribute to product definition, scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Write high-quality code using effective data structures and algorithms and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, product partners, and cross-functional engineers to define and deliver solutions.
- Monitor operational metrics, investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
- Mentor other engineers and evaluate generative AI tools and technical approaches to improve productivity and software quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
