Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure agent-driven services and systems that autonomously accomplish tasks.
- Develop high-throughput APIs and core agent capabilities including memory, communication channels, skills, decision logic, security, and workflow management.
- Integrate agent capabilities with backend services, data stores, vector databases, search and retrieval systems, and external APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, AI researchers, data engineers, and UX teams to deliver production-ready agent software.
- Ensure reliability, monitoring, observability, metrics, logging, CI/CD, and fault tolerance for agent components.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and participate in code reviews.
- Build frontend tooling for agent-management interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience and at least 3 years of production Python experience.
- Daily proficiency with native agentic coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, or complex backend APIs supporting AI or agent workflows.
- Experience integrating AI models, agent frameworks such as LangGraph and Agent Harness, vector databases, and large-context reasoning services.
- Understanding of agent orchestration patterns, state management, and asynchronous workflows.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and operational engineering practices.
- Understanding of performance optimization, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous work on AI agents coordinating multi-step actions, reasoning, or autonomous decision-making loops.
- Contributions to open-source agent toolkits or SDKs.
- Experience with frontend technologies including React and TypeScript.
