Responsibilities
- Architect complex enterprise solutions spanning hardware, software, databases, networking, telecommunications, data management, and systems programming.
- Gather customer and laboratory-wide requirements and develop solutions that meet long-term business objectives.
- Lead complex, cross-discipline projects and provide technical leadership and architectural direction.
- Manage projects from inception through implementation, including documentation, user and administrator training, schedules, budgets, resources, and benefits realization.
- Research industry practices and regulatory changes and recommend practical solutions to complex issues.
- Maintain project-control environments involving estimating, schedules, and costs.
- Maintain required safety and security compliance and incorporate safety and security into all work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 12 years of related experience, or additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizenship is required per contract.
- Expert knowledge of current and future network, data management, security, hardware, software development, and systems programming technologies and enterprise web application delivery.
- Expert knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS implementation, administration, maintenance, and end-user support.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Project Integration Framework (PIF).
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, project management, and team-building skills.
