Base Salary
$83k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate models and components into large-scale simulations.
- Develop and maintain GUI, analysis, and automation tools, including build and test automation.
- Contribute to software design and architecture, implement capabilities, perform testing, and resolve bugs and issues.
- Interact with radar systems and modeling and simulation engineers.
- Port code between Windows and Linux environments.
- Travel up to 5% to Navy facilities around the Washington, DC area, with occasional farther travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical degree well-grounded in computer programming.
- Skill in C, C++, or Java.
- Interest in the Navy's AEGIS Combat System and defense technology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
- US citizenship required.
- Preferred: skill in Qt and Microsoft Visual Studio, and experience with Windows and Linux environments.
