Responsibilities
- Build AI agents, workflows, tools, and automations for customer, product, and operations problems.
- Apply LLMs, retrieval, tool calling, evaluations, guardrails, and automation to practical financial workflows.
- Create AI-assisted experiences for onboarding, support, KYC, risk review, CRM, operations, document handling, and product intelligence.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify valuable opportunities, ship systems quickly, and improve them in production.
- Design reliable systems that address accuracy, hallucination risk, latency, cost, security, compliance, and user trust.
- Convert manual processes into scalable AI-enabled systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering ability and experience building production AI systems rather than only developing AI strategy or research projects.
- Experience building AI agents, LLM applications, RAG systems, automation workflows, copilots, or AI-enabled tools.
- Strong coding ability in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a similar practical technology stack.
- Ability to evaluate AI quality, improve reliability, and make sound decisions about what should and should not be automated.
- Evidence of personally helping build, ship, or scale a serious product, platform, or system.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate with product, operations, business, and engineering teams.
- Fintech, banking, support automation, risk, KYC, fraud, CRM, or operations automation experience is a strong plus.
- Candidates must already be based in Australia.
