Base Salary
$220k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own significant technical domains end to end, including architecture and implementation.
- Make and communicate high-impact design decisions across teams.
- Identify and drive improvements to performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to deliver solutions.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
- Operate autonomously to identify and solve problems.
Requirements
- Significant experience building and operating production backend systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Python or another backend language.
- Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL frameworks, or stream processing.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses.
- Experience using AI tools in data platform work.
- Ability to communicate technical complexity clearly.
- A track record of shipping products, not just designing them.
