Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain highly available, resilient, and performant PDP and PEP components across a global hybrid environment.
  • Lead the transition from initial PBAC use cases to enterprise-wide adoption and define organization-wide policy-based authorization standards.
  • Consult with application and data owners and integrate systems through RESTful APIs, SQL/JDBC, and LDAP.
  • Design automated Policy as Code pipelines for versioning, testing, and deployment of authorization logic.
  • Manage platform upgrades, security patching, performance tuning, lifecycle operations, and external Managed Service Providers.
  • Streamline asset onboarding while maintaining alignment with global security standards, ITIL change principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, vendors, and global stakeholders to resolve complex authorization problems and create secure user experiences.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of experience in IT or security, including at least 4 years dedicated to IAM and specific PBAC or ABAC expertise in large enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of XACML, Policy as Code, decentralized policy management, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SSO, and IGA.
  • Proficiency in Java or Python for custom integrations and hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and maintainable, configurable off-the-shelf solutions.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis, elicit requirements, advise senior leadership, mentor team members, and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
