Base Salary
$85k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support AI-powered applications, agents, and workflow automations using approved firm platforms and services.
- Build generative AI solutions using LLMs, prompt design, retrieval-based patterns, and enterprise data sources.
- Develop Python services, APIs, integrations, and reusable components for AI use cases.
- Perform software lifecycle activities including design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and support.
- Collaborate with technology, data, security, platform, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Evaluate AI outputs and improve solution quality, reliability, usability, and operational performance.
- Support secure engineering practices, governance reviews, monitoring, risk controls, and operational readiness.
- Identify responsible AI opportunities to simplify processes and automate repeatable activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in software development, preferably using Python and one or more additional programming languages.
- Understanding of software engineering practices, software development lifecycle processes, source control, automated testing, and code review standards.
- Working knowledge of large language models, generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience building or integrating APIs, backend services, data pipelines, or enterprise applications.
- Understanding of secure development, data handling, privacy, risk, and governance for enterprise AI solutions.
- Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot technical issues independently, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, agentic AI patterns, or AI orchestration frameworks is advantageous.
- Experience in financial services, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud platforms, or enterprise AI platforms is advantageous but not required.
