Base Salary
$131k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and deploy agentic AI solutions that modernize enterprise IVR and contact center applications.
- Build conversational AI agents that understand intent, maintain context, execute multistep workflows, call tools, and support automated decision-making.
- Integrate LLMs, NLP, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI guardrails into voice-enabled applications.
- Build APIs, microservices, backend integrations, and enterprise application connections for AI agents.
- Integrate solutions with IVR and contact center platforms including Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Genesys Cloud, and comparable technologies.
- Implement security, authentication, authorization, privacy safeguards, human escalation, federal compliance, and accessibility requirements.
- Evaluate and optimize response accuracy, latency, reliability, performance, and customer experience.
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, technical documentation, and support for Agile and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline, plus 12 or more years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree subject to contract requirements.
- Hands-on software development experience with Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience developing or integrating AI/ML solutions, conversational AI applications, or LLM-powered systems.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, enterprise application integration, cloud technologies, NLP, speech recognition, and conversational AI.
- Understanding of agent orchestration, tool calling, context management, and automated workflows.
- Preferred experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Genesys Cloud, Twilio, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes, RAG, vector databases, semantic search, prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
- Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements including NIST 800-53, FISMA, secure software development, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
- Experience supporting federal government customers and ability to meet customer-specific suitability and background investigation requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
