Base Salary

$170k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship AI-powered automation tools and internal applications for manual business processes.
Architect and maintain LLM-based systems, prompt pipelines, agentic workflows, tool-calling integrations, and RAG setups.
Build and maintain data pipelines connecting Snowflake, internal APIs, and SaaS tools to AI workflows.
Partner with Process Analysts to translate business requirements into engineering specifications and iterate using user feedback.
Own production reliability through monitoring, alerting, and ongoing evaluation of AI outputs.
Evaluate and integrate emerging AI models, frameworks, APIs, and other tooling.
Contribute to standards for prompt management, evaluation frameworks, model selection, and system architecture.

6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years designing, building, and deploying LLM-based or AI-powered applications in production.
Strong Python skills and experience building APIs, data pipelines, and backend services.
Practical experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, prompt engineering, and agentic patterns including function calling, multi-step reasoning, and tool use.
Familiarity with SQL, data transformation, and cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and ship iteratively.
Experience with vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search is a plus.
