Responsibilities
- Build Pulse’s AI core for conversation ingestion, topic detection, LLM evaluations, scoring, PII redaction, and insights and recommendations.
- Develop Amazon Bedrock model invocation, agents, AgentCore gateways and runtimes, Knowledge Bases/RAG, Guardrails, and third-party LLM integrations.
- Build Pulse’s MCP server, agentic interfaces, observability capabilities, evaluation harnesses, quality scoring, and production health metrics.
- Develop the supporting serverless backend and reusable AWS CDK infrastructure for deployment into customer-owned AWS accounts.
- Own Amazon Connect integrations involving CTR, Contact Lens, agent event streams, Lex bots, and contact flows.
- Drive authentication, authorization, encryption, secure development, and security remediation efforts.
- Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and take technical ownership of product epics.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
- Hands-on GenAI and LLM application engineering experience, including prompt design, RAG, structured outputs, LLM-as-judge evaluation, guardrails, and token or cost optimization.
- Production experience with Amazon Bedrock or equivalent LLM platforms and deep AWS serverless architecture experience.
- Experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and event-driven integrations.
- Experience with Amazon Connect, contact flows, Lex, and CTR or Contact Lens data streams.
- Experience building AI agents using Amazon Connect, Lex, and Bedrock for voice or chat self-service and agent assistance.
- AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification at the Associate or Professional level.
- Security-minded development experience with IAM, Cognito, KMS encryption, VPC/network design, and secure SDLC.
- Preferred experience with MCP servers, Bedrock AgentCore, LangGraph, Strands, CrewAI, AI-agent evaluation and observability, multi-tenant SaaS, customer-cloud deployments, contact center platforms, Salesforce APIs, or AWS AI Practitioner or Machine Learning Specialty certification.
