Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate production AI agents, assistants, and automations for internal functions.
- Build shared frameworks, knowledge-base pipelines, evaluation tooling, and reusable integrations with company systems.
- Partner with functional champions to understand workflows and deliver high-leverage AI solutions.
- Implement access control, data privacy, auditability, human-in-the-loop controls, and responsible-AI practices.
- Measure adoption, quality, cost, and time savings, and use data to improve systems.
- Maintain reliable, observable, and maintainable systems, including production incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to AI-assisted engineering standards, rules, skills, and agents across the company.
- Create documentation, proposals, and runbooks; share knowledge; mentor engineers; and support hiring and onboarding.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience shipping production LLM-powered features, agents, or AI tooling.
- Strong experience integrating third-party SaaS APIs, internal services, and data pipelines.
- Solid grounding in system design, APIs, databases, and application architecture.
- Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders to shape and deliver solutions.
- Practical understanding of security and data-privacy constraints for AI systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with model APIs, agent frameworks, prompt and context engineering, RAG, and knowledge bases.
- Experience designing APIs and integrating multiple SaaS platforms and internal systems.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, CI/CD, and containerisation.
- Experience with agent frameworks, MCP-style tool interfaces, or multi-agent systems is desirable.
- Experience with RAG and knowledge-base systems, LLM evaluation and observability tooling, internal or platform tooling, developer-experience products, LLM cost optimization, or full-stack development is desirable.
