Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Design, write, and execute manual test cases.
- Perform functional, UI, regression, smoke, cross-browser, cross-device, and basic API testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through the defect life cycle.
- Prepare and manage test data for test execution.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and raise concerns.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Support release activities and maintain test documentation.
- Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in testing, including around 1 year of hands-on manual testing experience.
- Graduation is required.
- Familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Strong understanding of requirements analysis, test case preparation, and test execution.
- Basic knowledge of manual API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Exposure to test management tools such as Jira, Xray, or TestLink is preferred.
- Basic understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- E-commerce domain knowledge or experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, logical thinking, communication, teamwork, ownership, and willingness to learn.
