Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale product capabilities and web applications.
- Develop frontend applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design techniques.
- Build and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails and related web technologies.
- Optimize client-side and server-side performance, including HTTP requests, SQL queries, and memory management.
- Work with large datasets and scalable frontend architectures.
- Translate wireframes and mockups into clean, semantic, responsive HTML and CSS.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and quality engineers.
- Use Git and GitHub for source control and contribute to team success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building web applications with Rails, Entity, Spring, or a similar MVC framework.
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL databases, ideally relational databases such as Postgres and RDS.
- 5+ years of experience using JavaScript and TypeScript to build single-page applications with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and styling web applications.
- 3+ years of experience converting wireframes or mockups into clean, semantic HTML and CSS with a focus on responsive design and performance.
- Experience with Chart.js, Highcharts, D3, or another popular charting library.
- Experience using Git and GitHub for source control.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, adapt to changing requirements, and contribute proactively to team goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and a performance-oriented approach.
