Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions across systems and services.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-tested code.
- Perform code reviews and uphold engineering standards and best practices.
- Support planning, prioritization, and backlog management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across systems and environments.
- Apply unit, integration, performance, and other testing strategies to ensure quality.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive improvements to development practices, tools, and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software development across modern technologies and architectures.
- Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and scalable distributed systems.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and accountability skills.
- Good understanding of account-based payments, payment schemes, and ERP integrations.
- Experience in fintech, open banking, bank APIs, ERP integrations, or accounting software environments.
- Experience with test strategies and quality practices across the software development life cycle.
- Comfort working in complex, multi-tiered systems and production environments.
- Willingness to mentor others and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
