Base Salary
$160k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, clinical, and engineering colleagues to evaluate new technologies and clinical applications.
- Prototype software features and algorithms with sufficient fidelity and scalability for rapid iteration and evaluation.
- Develop across embedded, algorithm, and GUI software layers.
- Build proof-of-concept tools, workflows, and application features for device, system, and user-facing experiences.
- Troubleshoot and debug multidisciplinary systems involving software, hardware, and electromechanical interactions.
- Own technical projects and drive work independently in an exploratory development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of software development experience in relevant areas.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, object-oriented programming, and Python and/or MATLAB.
- Experience developing software for physical, electromechanical, or robotic systems deployed on embedded Linux or QNX.
- Experience systematically troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
- Experience working as a software generalist across embedded real-time applications and GUI development.
- Experience with Git and Jira.
- Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, communicate effectively, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Master’s or PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
