Responsibilities
- Develop software primarily in C/C++ for Windows and Linux, including device drivers, device communication libraries, biometric SDKs, middleware, interfaces, remote management infrastructure, and security infrastructure.
- Optionally develop software for Android and iOS using C#, Java, Kotlin, and Swift.
- Participate in creating software and module specifications and documentation.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with the team.
- Occasionally travel internationally.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience with a master’s degree or 5 years with a bachelor’s degree.
- Substantial experience programming in C/C++.
- Working knowledge of either Windows or Linux and basic knowledge of the other, including software development for these operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of at least one additional high-level language: C#, Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Working knowledge of source code management and configuration, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of multithreading, multitasking, interprocess communication, and other system-programming concepts.
- Ability to complete tasks independently, with minimal supervision, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Czech or Slovak is advantageous.
- Preferred qualifications include device-driver development, VMware or other virtualization platforms, Citrix or other remote desktop server platforms, secure platform-independent coding, applied cryptography, PKI, X.509 certificates, information security, Python automation, AI and deep learning, and Android or iOS development.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment and able to possess or acquire a valid passport.
