Base Salary
$141k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant cloud security system processing real-time events, network telemetry, and data from multiple public clouds.
- Design, defend, implement, deploy, and operate critical services and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Write primarily Go and SQL-based data pipeline code using Kubernetes-based service infrastructure.
- Own code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to clarify requirements and solve customer problems.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience with Go, SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Extensive API- or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience delivering containerized services, preferably on Kubernetes.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
