Base Salary

$125k - $223k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and delivery of order management, trade execution, and trade-processing tooling for Credit Cash and Derivatives products.
Build and support reliable, scalable Java-based backend services and integrations, with Python development also relevant.
Develop modern React front-end applications, including state management and component design.
Partner with trading desk users, desk strategists, the Algo team, and technology teams to translate workflows into technical solutions and drive adoption.
Lead full delivery lifecycle execution, including scope, technical approach, plans, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
Define and champion engineering standards covering software design, code quality, automated testing, operational resilience, and modern development practices.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance while fostering an accountable and collaborative engineering team.
Coordinate delivery priorities, platform dependencies, integrations, and technical direction with project and technology leads.

Extensive hands-on experience with Java and Python for scalable, high-performance backend services.
Strong experience developing modern front-end applications with React, including state management and component design.
Understanding of derivative products, especially Credit and Interest Rate derivatives and their product lifecycles.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerized microservices architectures, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
Experience with distributed systems and high-availability environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and end-to-end initiative leadership skills.
