Responsibilities

Design end-to-end enterprise solutions on Salesforce using OmniStudio/Vlocity components.
Define architecture for OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, FlexCards, Calculation Procedures, integrations, security, data models, and deployment strategies.
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable, reusable technical designs.
Design integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
Create Solution Design Documents, architecture diagrams, sequence flows, integration designs, technical specifications, and deployment runbooks.
Lead technical discussions across requirements, design, sprint planning, development, SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare.
Provide effort estimates and technical risk assessments, mentor developers, conduct design reviews, and resolve technical blockers.
Drive architecture governance and collaborate directly with business, client, and stakeholder teams.

8+ years of overall Salesforce experience.
3+ years of hands-on OmniStudio/Vlocity experience.
Strong Salesforce architecture and solution design experience, including Salesforce data, sharing, security, and platform limits.
Deep expertise in OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, FlexCards, OmniStudio Designer, Expression Sets, and Calculation Procedures.
Strong API and integration architecture knowledge, including REST/SOAP services, JSON/XML, Named Credentials, External Services, middleware platforms, enterprise integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and external system orchestration.
Experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect on enterprise Salesforce implementations.
Experience completing at least one full-lifecycle Salesforce transformation program.
Experience with Salesforce Higher Education Cloud.
Strong exposure to architecture governance, stakeholder management, technical leadership, and mentoring.
Salesforce Application Architect certification.
