Software Engineer II - C#/.Net - Neovest
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, code, debug, and troubleshoot secure software components using C#/.NET and other modern programming languages.
- Develop multi-threaded applications and maintain software in a large corporate environment.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools, automation, and enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding practices, and responsible data handling.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems, application resiliency, security, and operational stability when implementing solutions.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 4+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Intermediate experience with C#/.NET and multi-threaded application development.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred experience in capital markets portfolio and order management, cloud technologies, Redis or Hazelcast, and RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Advanced English skills are preferred.
