Responsibilities
- Own features through design, creation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Write clean, optimized, reusable, maintainable Java and full-stack code.
- Build scalable, performant products that provide real-time insights into streaming performance, fan engagement, and earnings.
- Create technical design documents and review design documents written by peers.
- Contribute to code reviews, test coverage, monitoring, paging, and incident management.
- Collaborate with the engineering team, learn from experienced engineers, and mentor more junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience working in Java with solid full-stack experience.
- Experience writing maintainable code, reviewing peers’ code, and shipping software features.
- Strong operational excellence practices, including testing, monitoring, paging, and incident management.
- Ability to make sound design tradeoffs and deliver scalable, performant, high-quality software.
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
