Responsibilities

  • Support, operate, and improve existing cloud infrastructure using best practices.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Improve reliability, monitoring, and alerting across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
  • Partner with security teams to meet enterprise security standards.
  • Support application teams with services- and API-based architectures.
  • Document cloud usage and infrastructure operations standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, project teams, and support organizations.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP is required.
  • Experience with cloud networking, including virtual networks, firewalls, and connectivity, is required.
  • Experience with version control, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and troubleshooting across systems is required.
  • Experience with services- or API-based development, rather than only client-side development, is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment are required.
  • Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud or on-premises environments, .NET/C#, YAML pipelines, Linux, PowerShell, Bash, security fundamentals, utilities or GIS experience, and Azure certifications.
