Base Salary
$250k - $500k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production systems across the PromptQL AI assistant, data engine, and runtime infrastructure.
- Design and implement architecture for complex distributed systems at scale.
- Optimize systems for performance, cost, and reliability.
- Contribute to AI safety mechanisms and foundational AI technology.
- Write high-leverage design documents, set engineering direction, and mentor senior engineers.
- Work across infrastructure, APIs, core product logic, and product experience with high autonomy.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- At least 1+ year building AI or ML-powered systems.
- Experience designing and shipping complex distributed systems at scale.
- Direct experience working with large language models in production.
- Fluency in Python and/or a systems programming language.
- Ability to work across infrastructure, APIs, and core product logic.
- Experience providing technical leadership, setting engineering direction, and mentoring senior engineers.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, changing priorities, and high autonomy.
- Confidence writing production-grade Python and working in cloud-native environments.
- Interest in building reliable, safe, and high-performance AI systems.
