Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the Android application.
- Contribute to platform-level Android development and architecture.
- Solve product and engineering problems using relevant data and clear objectives.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders on product design and direction.
- Communicate across teams and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of mobile app development experience, including professional experience building and shipping production Android applications.
- Strong Kotlin expertise and experience with Jetpack Compose and MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications and working in a startup environment.
- Proficiency with Protocol Buffers, REST APIs, and gRPC.
- Experience integrating Firebase Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
- Knowledge of Android unit, instrumentation, and UI testing, plus experience maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated mentorship or technical leadership experience and a strong academic background.
