Responsibilities

  • Lead application software development across design, implementation, testing, debugging, optimization, maintenance, and production support.
  • Build AI-powered applications using LLMs, AI-agent frameworks, RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, tool calling, and MCP integrations.
  • Develop Python applications and integrate APIs, enterprise knowledge sources, ITSM tools, chatbots, and workflow automation.
  • Design scalable and maintainable software architectures, API dependencies, versioning, lifecycle, interoperability, performance, and reliability strategies.
  • Implement AI evaluation, regression testing, automated testing, observability, monitoring, error logging, and cost optimization.
  • Address AI governance, security, privacy, PII handling, data residency, audit requirements, and secure coding practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, API, integration, Oracle application service, and Oracle Cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance and coaching, mentor junior engineers, and promote software quality and architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with customers, designers, product managers, QA, software engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize solutions.
  • Coordinate moderately complex projects and initiatives, monitor timelines and deliverables, and adjust plans across multiple projects.
  • Support customer issue resolution, advocate for customer needs, and recommend product enhancements based on feedback.
  • Participate in candidate interviews, assess candidates, and provide hiring recommendations.

Requirements

  • Advanced application software development experience with complex debugging, API integration, architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs and AI-agent frameworks.
  • Strong Python development and API integration skills.
  • Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, knowledge retrieval, prompt engineering, agent workflows, tool calling, and MCP integrations.
  • Experience evaluating AI models for accuracy, groundedness, hallucination detection, latency, and cost.
  • Experience integrating ITSM tools, MyHelp, Confluence, SharePoint, enterprise APIs, Slack APIs, Jira Service Management, chatbots, and workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy, PII handling, data residency, audit requirements, and model/token cost optimization.
  • Experience with automated AI testing, regression testing, cloud-native architecture, observability, and production support.
  • Ability to design, implement, test, maintain, and optimize scalable application software and services.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor less experienced developers, lead code reviews, and uphold coding, quality, architecture, and secure development standards.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional stakeholders and coordinate moderately complex work across projects.
  • Experience with Oracle applications services, Oracle Cloud infrastructure, application integrations, and software maintenance or patching.
