Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver capabilities across Go microservices and React applications.
- Shape architecture and system design for secure, event-driven services, APIs, and data models on Kubernetes.
- Make trade-offs across scale, multi-tenancy, reliability, security, and cost.
- Build responsive and accessible React and TypeScript experiences on well-designed APIs.
- Lead design discussions with partner teams and help establish engineering practices.
- Resolve blockers, raise major risks early, mentor engineers, and coordinate work across teams.
- Improve reliability through testing, CI/CD, observability, SLOs, and incident analysis.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of applicable software development experience.
- Strong production Go experience, including concurrency, profiling, and tuning.
- Strong system design and architecture skills for scalable, resilient microservices and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis, including data modeling, indexing, and query tuning.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, including Kafka or NATS messaging, caching, idempotency, and consistency.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and observability tools such as Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.
- Understanding of OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, multi-tenancy, and secrets management.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and reusable UI components.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
