Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of major product capabilities from problem definition through implementation, rollout, and production operation.
- Design secure, reliable, and scalable systems with clear trust boundaries while balancing security, privacy, performance, reliability, and usability.
- Lead complex investigations and improve engineering practices, testing, and operational readiness.
- Mentor engineers and provide direction through design and code reviews.
- Partner with product and research teams and contribute to technical strategy and long-term architecture.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of software engineering experience, including ownership of complex production systems and technically ambiguous cross-functional projects.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, and Python.
- Deep expertise in systems engineering, distributed systems, security engineering, backend platforms, or endpoint software.
- Experience designing systems with security, privacy, and reliability requirements, including concurrency, networking, storage, APIs, and operational observability.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
- Preferred experience building security, cloud, or enterprise software, including endpoint software for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Preferred familiarity with AI applications, agents, developer platforms, or AI security.
- Preferred experience with security policy, detection, analysis, or software supply-chain systems.
