Responsibilities
- Orchestrate workflows connecting ServiceNow, cloud services, identity systems, and enterprise applications.
- Build AI-powered request resolution and autonomous operations for intent detection, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Integrate AI agents using MCP, tools, and orchestration patterns.
- Re-engineer business processes before automating them and define appropriate human intervention points.
- Measure automation costs, cycle times, improvements, and business impact.
- Build and configure ServiceNow solutions using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, scoped applications, catalog capabilities, and Now Assist.
- Develop automation with Python and PowerShell for cloud operations, identity management, monitoring, and scheduling.
- Design, deploy, monitor, and govern reliable production workflows with appropriate autonomy boundaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, automation, or ServiceNow development.
- Hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including Flow Designer, integrations, and platform scripting.
- Experience with authentication, enterprise data models such as CMDB, REST APIs, and enterprise platforms.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, C#, or PowerShell.
- Experience delivering end-to-end automation from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and measurement.
- Understanding of APIs, system design, data structures, and scripting.
- Ability to work from business outcomes, identify automation opportunities, solve problems, and communicate with nontechnical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and GRC.
- Preferred familiarity with Service Portal, UI Builder, Performance Analytics, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, App Engine, and ATF.
- Preferred experience applying AI to workflow automation, agent-based systems, human-in-the-loop design, guardrails, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, vector databases, observability, monitoring, process mining, Workato, or MuleSoft.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS are preferred.
