Base Salary
$186k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement datapath features for load balancing, firewall rules, and L7 protocol implementations.
- Apply C programming, data structures, and algorithms to build high-performance systems.
- Drive moderately complex architectural projects independently from conception through large-scale deployment.
- Use networking protocol expertise in DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
- Leverage Unix or Linux knowledge to optimize networking and security applications.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience building large-scale commercial networking and security applications.
- Proficiency in C or C++.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Working experience with Linux, Unix, or similar operating systems.
- BS or MS degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Curiosity about and demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.
- Preferred: experience with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Preferred: advanced knowledge of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
