Responsibilities
- Own tasks that improve security automation and strengthen product security pipelines.
- Explore the use of AI for vulnerability detection and remediation.
- Enhance security services with software engineering solutions and share knowledge about product-specific vulnerabilities.
- Review outbound email security metrics and maintain the Web Application Firewall ruleset.
- Maintain Kubernetes security, CI/CD pipeline security, and the central TypeScript-based HTML sanitization service.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the product department in a growing SaaS environment.
Requirements
- Practical knowledge of security topics including penetration testing, secure software development, vulnerability management, SAST, and DAST.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python.
- Practical knowledge of Unix and Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Experience or familiarity with Terraform and Kustomize is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills; German is a plus.
