Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered investigation workflows and agent-based systems integrated with internal tools, data sources, and knowledge repositories.
- Build detection and risk analysis systems for suspicious or high-risk activity, including risk signals, behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and actionable intelligence.
- Develop scalable batch and streaming data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and data products for AI, investigation, automation, and risk assessment.
- Design and implement APIs, backend services, distributed systems, and frameworks for deploying, evaluating, and operating AI workflows in production.
- Improve AI workflow reasoning quality, reliability, performance, data quality, observability, and operational stability.
- Monitor production systems, resolve reliability or quality issues, and contribute to architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing Python-based production backend systems.
- Experience developing machine learning, AI, large-scale data processing, or analytics platform systems.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience designing APIs and developing scalable services.
- Ability to independently lead projects from requirements definition through production deployment.
- Preferred experience with LLMs, RAG, and AI agent development.
- Preferred experience with fraud detection, Trust & Safety, identity security, security engineering, risk management, feature engineering, large-scale data processing, Detection Engineering, SIEM, SOAR, security analytics, production AI operations, authentication, account security, or behavioral analytics.
