Responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact projects and develop innovative solutions for rider experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams to develop solutions aligned with technology and business needs.
  • Independently lead features from ideation through execution and launch.
  • Support and communicate with internal partners to achieve results.
  • Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code using Python, Go, and AWS.
  • Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations.
  • Share technical knowledge through brown bags and tech talks and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • At least 3 years of software engineering industry experience.
  • Extensive object-oriented programming experience, ideally with Go or Python.
  • Backend software development experience with distributed systems and concurrency.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with real-time serving systems for ML or optimization models and online/offline experimentation frameworks is preferred.
