Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact projects and develop innovative solutions for rider experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams to develop solutions aligned with technology and business needs.
- Independently lead features from ideation through execution and launch.
- Support and communicate with internal partners to achieve results.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code using Python, Go, and AWS.
- Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations.
- Share technical knowledge through brown bags and tech talks and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years of software engineering industry experience.
- Extensive object-oriented programming experience, ideally with Go or Python.
- Backend software development experience with distributed systems and concurrency.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.
- Experience with real-time serving systems for ML or optimization models and online/offline experimentation frameworks is preferred.
