Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance customer-facing front-end and back-end applications.
  • Contribute to products that acquire and engage customers and connect people with Gallup’s solutions.
  • Explore AI and emerging technologies for smarter, more personalized user experiences.
  • Create proofs of concept and experiment rapidly with promising ideas.
  • Evaluate engineering options, develop practical solutions, and improve work through testing and iteration.
  • Collaborate with engineers and partners to design, build, test, and improve software.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree program in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required.
  • Classroom, project, internship, or work experience coding in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Python, SQL, or another development language is required.
  • Programming analysis, design, and creative problem-solving aptitude is required.
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies and interest in experimenting with new tools are preferred.
  • Enrollment at a college or university within an 80-mile radius of San Francisco is required.
  • Anticipated graduation between August 2027 and May 2028 is preferred, with consideration for 2029 graduates.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Benefits

  • Full-time paid Summer 2027 internship lasting 12 weeks at $45-$50 per hour.
  • Potential to work up to 20 hours per week during the school year, depending on business demands.
  • Potential for a full-time job offer after graduation based on business needs and intern performance.
  • 40-hour-per-week schedule during the summer internship.
  • Hybrid arrangement requiring on-site work at the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Friday.
