Responsibilities
- Develop universal vector representations and embeddings for products, queries, brands, categories, and related items.
- Build and train two-tower Transformer models using pretrained Gemini models, user clicks, and relevance labels.
- Run training on shared Gemini infrastructure and support low-latency online query encoding and offline product embedding and indexing.
- Optimize multimodal Gemini embedding models using product thumbnails, titles, and descriptions to improve recall and nearest-neighbor search.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages, including Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: experience with Deep Learning, Information Retrieval, and Multimodal Machine Learning.
