Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Service Cloud solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Flow, and declarative tools.
- Architect scalable Salesforce data models, integrations, and automation for high-volume clinical and contact-center operations.
- Lead technical design reviews and advise on Salesforce best practices, governor limits, platform performance, and architecture.
- Build and maintain REST/SOAP, middleware, and event-driven integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs with product, QA, clinical operations, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and Salesforce CI/CD deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks and integration failures.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.
- Monitor Salesforce release cycles and recommend platform improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years focused on Salesforce development.
- Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, including case management, omni-channel routing, and console configuration.
- Strong expertise with Lightning Web Components, Aura, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
- Experience designing and building REST/SOAP, middleware, event-driven, and streaming integrations.
- Understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security models, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and governor limits.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II is a plus.
- Preferred experience includes Five9, Twilio, Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, Salesforce Health Cloud, healthcare or regulated industries, clinical or contact-center workflows, CTI, Angular, React, Salesforce Shield, and Event Monitoring.
- Ability to work independently, make architectural tradeoffs, communicate technical decisions, and own a platform area end-to-end.
