Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and enhance application systems and programs in coordination with Technology teams.
- Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities for complex enterprise applications.
- Design microservices, distributed architectures, micro-frontends, SSR/SSG solutions, and client-side performance strategies.
- Build and scale design systems used across multiple business units or product lines.
- Develop coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and implementation standards.
- Analyze complex business and system processes and deliver innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Partner with management teams and distributed delivery partners to integrate functions and deliver new products.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology, compliance, operational, and business risks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in the financial-services industry.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Expert proficiency in React v18+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript ES2022+.
- Hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring, microservices, distributed architecture, enterprise applications, and cloud/IaaS/PaaS environments.
- Deep understanding of micro-frontend architectures such as Module Federation and single-spa, plus SSR/SSG patterns and CSR optimization.
- Experience with Angular or Vue, relational and non-relational databases, deployment tools, and automated testing.
- Experience building and scaling design systems across multiple business units or product lines.
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in distributed teams across time zones, including offshore delivery partners.
- Applications Development Manager experience, stakeholder and people management experience, leadership skills, project management skills, and knowledge of industry practices and standards.
