Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers responsible for functional testing across Safe’s products and services.
- Define testing strategy, standards, best practices, test coverage, and release-readiness processes.
- Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable test infrastructure and environments.
- Drive AI-assisted test generation, automated or self-healing test maintenance, and AI-driven test-result and failure analysis.
- Evaluate and improve the accuracy and reliability of AI agents used in testing and quality workflows.
- Own production deployment of tested services, including quality gates and rollback plans.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design on coverage and release priorities.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and identify root causes.
- Use AWS services to architect and optimize cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test roles.
- Strong experience building, scaling, and maintaining functional, API, and UI test automation frameworks.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
- Hands-on experience applying AI and LLMs across the test lifecycle and evaluating AI-agent accuracy and reliability.
- Experience maintaining test infrastructure and deployment or release processes in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
