Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions.
- Build fault-tolerant, secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based services and REST microservices APIs.
- Develop event-driven systems for asynchronous communication between systems and components.
- Use Java, JavaScript, Python, Spring Boot, TypeScript, SQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, RDBMS, and NoSQL databases.
- Build observable distributed systems to monitor performance, trace issues, and troubleshoot failures.
- Conduct peer and code reviews and maintain code quality before production release.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and Agile teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor engineering team members and contribute to recruiting and internal technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or information technology, plus five or more years of experience.
- Intermediate to advanced programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, ReactJS, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience delivering Kubernetes-based microservices on AWS in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment.
- Strong proficiency developing scalable and resilient REST microservices APIs.
- Experience with object-oriented design, design patterns, reusable code, testing, and responsive web applications.
- Experience with version control, branching, merging, code review, and production-quality software delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred familiarity with SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, AI coding assistants, or AWS certifications.
