Base Salary
$227k - $273k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of cross-team projects from design to production.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance engineering processes and set standards.
- Make architectural decisions that balance speed, quality, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams as a peer.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
- Identify and address gaps in organizational processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building and shipping production systems at scale.
- Proven ability to influence AI usage in engineering work.
- Strong backend fundamentals and system design experience.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or Node.js.
