Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, deploy, and operate AWS Frontier AI services across GovCloud and isolated regions.
  • Design and implement scalable distributed systems, tools, automation, and operational solutions across thousands of devices.
  • Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, systems, and service issues, including deep dives and technical post-mortems.
  • Improve resiliency, streamline processes, resolve operational challenges, and support security campaigns and parity programs.
  • Influence technical strategy and architecture, make data-driven decisions, and lead resolution of complex technical problems.
  • Work cross-functionally with partner teams and government customers to address technical needs and contentious issues.
  • Build software and tools using Java or Python.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Current, active US Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
  • Strong Linux and networking fundamentals, systems skills, troubleshooting ability, and experience in large-scale distributed environments.
  • Ability to work with government customers and obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or commensurate agency clearances after starting.
