Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems for Identity, KYC, authentication, and related services.
- Contribute to technical projects from development through deployment and maintenance.
- Build and support reliable distributed systems and backend services.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, and engineering teams to deliver identity and KYC solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity and delivery.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Experience building backend services and working with distributed systems.
- Experience with Go, or strong experience in another backend language with willingness to transition to Go.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, system design, testing, CI/CD, and production operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.
- Preferred experience in Identity, KYC, authentication, fraud prevention, onboarding, fintech, banking, payments, or other financial services.
- Preferred experience with Go-based backend systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, AWS or other major cloud platforms, and AI-assisted development workflows.
