Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable cloud infrastructure, platform services, networks, and deployment solutions for 10X growth.
- Build self-service code and end-to-end deployment automation for application stacks using infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
- Create roadmaps and technical vision for reliable, scalable, available, and efficient cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Operate and improve Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, public-cloud, private-cloud, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Analyze distributed production deployments and optimize performance, availability, infrastructure usage, and operational processes.
- Provide technical guidance on machine types, network design, role management, CDN, domains, cloud security, and cloud architecture choices.
- Manage continuous integration servers and use monitoring and testing tools to improve operational excellence.
- Influence multiple engineering teams, collaborate with customers and stakeholders, and lead mission-critical architecture and infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 7+ years of total experience.
- Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 15+ years of hands-on cloud platform engineering experience.
- 10+ years of system engineering, Cloud DevOps, Cloud SRE, infrastructure-as-code, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure engineering experience across the preferred qualifications.
- 7+ years of system design and architecture experience using AWS or Azure services.
- 7+ years of experience building and managing high-performance, highly available, scalable hybrid-cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Python or Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and cloud deployment automation.
- AWS advanced architecting or developing certification is preferred.
- Experience leading system design, architecture, technical teams, and cross-group collaboration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical influence skills.

- Base pay ranges from $174,000 to $299,000 per year, with a potential annual bonus of 0–20% of base salary.
