Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, debug, and enhance software applications supporting Computer Network Operations.
- Analyze user and system requirements and design software solutions that meet functional and performance objectives.
- Integrate software components into existing and emerging operational environments.
- Design and implement complex database interfaces, queries, and data repository solutions.
- Develop Python software to automate mission processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Review software designs, technical documentation, and code for compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and mission stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Recommend improvements to software development processes, documentation, and engineering methodologies.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph through the customer.
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing software in a Computer Network Operations environment.
- Strong Python development experience.
- Experience analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, developing capabilities, debugging, testing, and integrating software into operational environments.
- Experience designing or implementing complex database interfaces and data repository queries.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience supporting offensive cyber operations or cyber mission systems.
- Preferred: experience with Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
- Preferred: experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, or similar development tools.
- Preferred: experience with relational or NoSQL database technologies.
- Preferred: experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense mission systems.
