Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams, data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to define business objectives and technical requirements.
- Architect scalable Generative AI solutions using retrieval-augmented generation, transformer architectures, vectorization, embeddings, and multi-agent architectures.
- Develop applications using large language models including OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google PaLM, and Meta Llama.
- Use LangChain and LlamaIndex for indexing, retrieval, and language-model chaining.
- Select Generative AI technologies, tools, and frameworks based on performance, precision, and scalability needs.
- Oversee large language model fine-tuning, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Build workflows covering data cleansing, preprocessing, model training or fine-tuning, and feedback loops.
- Conduct code reviews, document design decisions, mentor less experienced team members, and lead AI projects or teams.
- Track Generative AI advancements and identify opportunities for organizational adoption.
- Work with infrastructure teams to deploy and monitor large language models in operational cloud environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science.
- Experience with Generative AI architectures and frameworks, including retrieval-augmented generation, vectorization, embeddings, and multi-agent solutions.
- Experience working with multiple large language models, such as Azure OpenAI GPT 3.5/4.0, Meta Llama2/Llama3, and Google PaLM2.
- Experience designing and developing AI solutions involving natural language processing, computer vision, speech recognition, or deep learning.
- Experience deploying and monitoring AI solutions in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Experience leading or managing AI projects or teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, presentation, and responsible AI skills.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in AI, machine learning, data science, or a related field.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Preferred: certification or training in AI, machine learning, or data science.
- Preferred: experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Jira, or Trello.
