Base Salary
$113k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and support cloud-based software systems for client missions.
- Evaluate and modernize cloud data processing to advance data-centricity objectives.
- Translate real-world customer and mission needs into technical specifications and software solutions.
- Define requirements, maintain system documentation, and support requirements traceability.
- Identify and track technical debt, risks, and opportunities at tactical and strategic levels.
- Participate fully in Agile planning and team activities.
- Deliver government-accepted documentation through the contract data requirements list approval process.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with systems engineering or software engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph examination.
- Experience with requirements definition, system documentation, Agile methodology, and requirements traceability.
- Ability to produce detailed, well-written, government-accepted documentation.
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE certification within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred experience with cloud software development, government contract data requirements lists, risk management processes, or software backend testing.
- Preferred knowledge of Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
