Responsibilities
- Improve the performance of machine learning training and inference platforms.
- Develop and optimize compilers for accelerated computing platforms.
- Analyze memory hierarchies, parallelism, instruction dispatch, and irregular-bitwidth numerics.
- Target GPUs, TPUs, and similar accelerated hardware.
- Assist in designing novel hardware architectures for machine learning acceleration.
- Map AI models from JAX graphs to hardware implementations.
- Contribute to operating-system development, including Linux kernel modules.
Requirements
- Experienced software engineer proficient in C, C++, Rust, or a similar language.
- Strong ability to solve complex algorithmic problems.
- Understanding of and some experience targeting GPUs, TPUs, or similar hardware.
- Some experience with data-flow-oriented compilers for AI or scientific computing.
- Experience writing Linux kernel modules or working in operating-system development is of interest.
