Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain fully responsive websites from end to end.
- Develop, implement, and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Maintain and improve frontend code, participate in code reviews and design brainstorming, and perform code walkthroughs and testing.
- Provide development recommendations for supported application technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a frontend software engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of adaptive and responsive web design, including accessibility best practices and ARIA attributes.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, REST API and GraphQL API integrations, Material-UI, SCSS, Jest, React Testing Library, and Git.
- Ability to adapt to development standards, manage priorities, meet deadlines, receive feedback, and pursue continuous improvement.
- English proficiency is required to support and service out-of-province clients; bilingualism is considered an asset.
